GPS founder Katie Lapins recognizes the value of the relationship between the client and the consultant and it is with this understanding that GPS works with all of its clients. Rather than looking for a project, GPS is looking for new ways to build the relationship with a client and to become its partner.
Katie has over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in the areas government an commercial contracting, compliance, finance and sales operations. Her experience in the industry includes government contracts, rebates, pricing, specialty pharmaceutical distribution agreements and commercial contract management.
As a consultant, Katie has worked with pharmaceutical manufacturers in the areas of government programs and corporate compliance including the development of policies and procedures, compliance assessments, audits, methodology review and development, Class of Trade assignment and PHS eligibility. Additionally, she has participated in OIG and corporate compliance program development, self-reporting and voluntary restatements.
Katie received a Master of Arts in International Economic Development from the Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver.
